How do I place an order with Artistic Checks?

How do I know what branch is used for my bank?

The routing number you entered will provide us with all the necessary information for your financial institution.

How long does it take to print the checks?

Standard printing time can vary, but generally takes 2 to 5 business days. If you need the checks sooner, we offer an in-plant rush service that will cut your processing time to 2 business days. This selection can be made during checkout when completing the online ordering process.

How do I cancel my order?

We apologize, but we are unable to cancel an order online. Please call 1-800-824-3255 and a representative will assist you. Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Mountain Standard Time.

I just opened an account with my bank. What documentation do I need to order checks?

As long as you have your bank information (routing and account numbers), you are still able to place your order online, provided the information you give matches what your bank has on file (name, address and account numbers). Or, you can also call us at 1-800-824-3255 and a dedicated Customer Care Representative will assist you.

Please review all the information you have entered, double-checking it against the information on your existing checks. Your check information MUST match the records on file at your financial institution. For your security, all orders are subject to verification. If the information you have provided is not accurate, there may be a delay in processing your order. Order fulfillment is limited to U.S. residents.

How can I order additional deposit slips for my personal checking account?

Deposit slips may be ordered online. However, at this time you may not order checks and deposit slips on the same order. You'll find deposit slips here and you can follow the same check ordering instructions to place your deposit slip order online. Please visit our How To Order page to see instructions.


How many checks are in a box?

What are Duplicate Checks?

Duplicate checks include a carbon copy, so you'll always have a record of the checks you've written. Duplicate checks are available for all designs.

Why are you moving from 4 to 2 pads on single check orders?

We have consolidated our check pads in order to simplify our packaging. This unique check holder is envionmentally friendly, consumes less paper and is 100% recyclable. Use it at home or take it on the go to store and protect your checks. The number of checks is still the same at 80 checks per box. Duplicate Checks and Side Tear Checks will remain at 4 pads per box.

Why does my check packaging have a new look?

In order to provide superior protection for your checks, we have updated our packaging. This unique check holder is convenient, consumes less paper and is 100% recyclable. We hope this helps you protect your checks while using it at home or on the go.


When will I receive my checks?
What if I want my checks shipped to a different address?

During the checkout process you can choose the "I Need to Change My Shipping Address" option and have your checks shipped to a different address. Please note, any change to shipping address will require your order to go through our verification process to ensure the safety of your checks.

How can you track an order that was sent by mail?


I saw a printed advertisement for a special offer. Can I get this special offer when I order online?

Yes! We offer special pricing and offers to both first-time and reorder customers. If you see a special offer on one of our print advertisements, please look for the "Offer Code." To redeem the offer online, please follow the below guidelines:

  1. Go to the page for the checks you would like to purchase.
  2. Enter the Offer Code in the Offer Code box and click "APPLY".
  3. The pricing will be updated and this respective offer will be applied to your order.

Checks from Artistic Checks can be utilized the same as checks from your bank. However, when you order checks directly from Artistic Checks, you'll receive the same quality at lower prices. Plus, you can choose from our specially curated designs to reflect your taste and your originality.

Does my order include tax?

Yes, every order will be charged applicable state and local tax.

What are the file size requirements?

There are three size requirements for Artistic Checks Custom Photo Products:

  1. Pictures must be at least 6" wide and 2.75" tall.
  2. Pictures must be at landscape orientation.
  3. Pictures must be cropped as you'd like them to appear.

What is resolution?

Resolution determines the quality of your photo. A high-resolution image is clear and shows more detail, so it will reproduce better on your Artistic Checks Custom Photo Products. Image resolution is measured in pixels.

What is a pixel?

Pixels are tiny colored dots that make up an image. A photo that contains more pixels will remain clear as you increase its size. Your image must be at least 36 DPI (dots per inch) in order to be uploaded.

What file types are accepted?

We accept the following file types: .JPG, .JPEG, and .BMP files under 4MB.

Why won't my photo upload?

Your photo may not upload because it does not meet the requirements listed above.

Can all Artistic Checks Custom Photo Products be printed in full color?

Yes. If you upload a full-color photograph, your products will be printed in full color. If a black and white photo is submitted, your products will be printed in black and white. Please note that the color on personal checks will be lightened to comply with ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Standards. This ensures that your checks will meet all bank regulations. If we print your checks too dark, your bank could refuse to process them.

Can I get more than one picture printed?

Yes. You can submit up to 4 photos to be printed on your checks with our rotating series. At this time, all other products are limited to one photo per item. We cannot create collages from your photos.

Will you accept professional photographs or photos from magazines or other printed materials?

By submitting your order, you agree to defend and indemnify Artistic Checks from any claims that any person or entity may assert against Artistic Checks for any copyright or trademark infringement.

Can I supply a disk with the photo I wish to use on my Artistic Checks Custom Photo Products?

Currently, orders for photo products are only accepted through online orders.

Why are the images on my checks so light?

Images printed on checks must be lightened considerably in order to comply with ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Standards. This ensures that your checks will meet all bank regulations. If we print your checks too dark, your bank could refuse to process them.

What type of photos work best?

Horizontal photos that are clear and sharp work best. Avoid photos that are too dark or too light, out of focus or very busy. Images will be lightened on your checks in order to comply with bank standards.

Are photos saved electronically for reorders or do I have to re-upload my photos for a reorder?

Your photos are not saved once the order has been submitted. To reorder your Artistic Checks Custom Photo Products, you must re-upload your photos.

If there is a flaw in my photo, can you fix it?

We do not touch up photos. Please keep in mind, if there are flaws in the original photo, they may be evident in the reproduction on your checks. Please edit your photos prior to uploading.

Will my photos be used without my permission?

No. We will not use your photo(s) for any purpose, other than to manufacture your order, without your express written permission.
